Policies
Visitation Policy:
- The day of your visit and pick up, please do not visit any pet stores, pet warehouses, other breeders, dog parks, or any place where there has been a concentration of dogs. This is for the safety of our babies, to keep away disease.
- Visits are by appointment only, and ask that you be respectful of our time. If you are not able to make your appointment or simply change your mind please call and let us know instead of waiting for you to show up.
- If you have no intent on purchasing a puppy, please visit a pet store or another place where you can visit puppies, instead of possibly bringing germs into our home. Please do not make an appointment to see a puppy unless you are coming with the intention to make a non-refundable deposit or purchase of a puppy.
- Please don't bring other dogs with you when come. This introduces outside germs and your other dog could accidentally injure a puppy. If you are concerned about your dog getting along with a new puppy, please discuss this with us ahead of time so we can help come up with a plan.
Purchasing:
- We expect all puppies to be picked up by 9 weeks of age. Please do not place a deposit if you will be unable to pick up your puppy on go home day.
- Full registration will only be granted if approved and only on a co-own contract. If you place a deposit on a full registration puppy and none of the pups in the litter are show/breeding quality, we can move your deposit to a future litter. I have the right to change my mind about granting full registration at any time before you take the puppy home. All full registration puppies are on a co-own until the puppy is titled and all health testing is completed.
- Deposits to hold a puppy are $500 which goes towards the full price. Deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance is not due until the day you take your puppy home. But you can make payments on your puppy. When you pick up your puppy and take him/her home. Before pick up we will email you the Contract that will need to be signed and brought with you when picking up your puppy.
- I may take deposits before a litter is born. If so, deposits will be taken for a specific litter. Once the litter is born we will contact the deposit holders in order and ask them to decide if they want one of the puppies available, or if they want to move the deposit to the next litter.
- Once deposit holders have been made, I will post on Facebook/Instagram/website letting people know what puppy is still available. At that time you place a deposit on a specific puppy, unless old enough to leave then full payment is required.
- We prefer final payments to be made in cash, We also take Zelle, Venmo (if using friends/family), or payments through the gooddog link (they offer payment plans) without a processing fee.
- We do take debit/credit card payments but they will have a 3.5% processing fee
- Deposits are taken on a first come, first serve basis. Unfortunately we cannot hold puppies without a deposit. This is because people can easily change their mind and it isn't fair to those who have deposits. We cannot hold a puppy until we receive online confirmation of a payment made. We do accept checks for deposits only. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS FOR FINAL PAYMENT.
- We prefer all puppies are picked up by 9 weeks. We expect you to plan your life around the addition of this new baby. We reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone.
- If an emergency means a puppy cannot be picked up by 10 weeks, we will charge $40 per day for boarding, training, vaccinations, grooming, and food.
Refunds:
- We do not give refunds on puppies purchased after you take the puppy home. This is for several reasons, some of which include: we do not want you to purchase a puppy unless you are going to be 100% committed to the animal. We are aware that life circumstances can make it necessary to rehome your pet, but we want you to make the decision to bring a puppy into your life with the best intention of providing a lifetime home for them. The other major reason we do not give refunds is because we do not “rent” puppies. Once a puppy leaves our home they are exposed to possible illnesses or injury. If a puppy leaves our house and exposed to other diseases, it puts all the other puppies still at my home at risk.
Replacement Puppy:
- Our Replacement Policy is if your puppy comes down with a genetic disease you can receive a replacement puppy. You will need to have documentation by a vet sent to my vet and we reserve the right to have our vet examine to puppy. If the puppy is deemed to have a genetic disease you will be required to bring the puppy back to us to receive the replacement. If you want to keep that puppy we will not be responsible for any vet charges on the puppy and we will sent you a replacement for a discounted price. But the purchaser is responsible for all charges getting the new puppy to you, and the sick puppy back if you choose to return.
- For any puppies that are sold with full registration, the same as above applies.
