About Us
In Home Breeder
We are a small in home program where all our dogs comes first. Our puppies are raised in our home, exposed to small dogs, adults, children, many different sights and sounds. They are not raised in a kennel environment.
Breeder Support
We are not only dedicated to the preservation of this beautiful breed, but we are also dedicated to supporting our puppy families for the lifetime of their furry family member.
Health/Structure
All our breeding dogs are fully health tested to breed club standards and beyond. They receive their OFA CHIC numbers and have full genetic testing done before being bred.
We firmly believe proper structure is very important for any dog, whether they are a show, companion, sport, or hunting dog. Structure is the foundation to a long life. We only breed dogs who have proper structure in accordance with the breed standard set by Poodle Club of America. All of our breeding dogs hold conformation champion titles in UKC and AKC.
Workability/Temperament
We take pride in the fact that our dogs are able to accomplish so much. From being couch snuggle bugs, show dogs, service dogs, & performance dogs. They are very versatile. We only breed dogs that are confident, loving and willing to work.
Preservation Breeder
Desert Diamond is dedicated to the preservation of the Poodle, by only breeding the best males to our females to produce healthy, happy, balanced puppies. We only breed 1-2 litters a year with our standard. Also 1-2 litters per year with our toy poodles. With our focus being on raising puppies to be balanced members of our family and yours.
We do not sell our puppies to people who intend on mix breeding of any kind (No Doodle or Merle breeders).

OFA Health Testing
For standard poodles we do all required testing to CHIC requirements and above

- Heart - After 12 months
- Thyroid - After 12 months

- Patella's - Done at 1 year
- Eyes - By vet ophthalmologist

Puppy Culture
With this we try to raise well rounded puppies by putting them in different situations from the time they are born until they go home.
Days 3-16

NuVet Supplements
These are great supplements that help keep your puppy healthy to help them grow into a healthy adult. We do give these to our dogs and our puppies do go home with a sample and it is your choice to continue or not, but we do encourage you to. When ordering use our order code when placing.
